Approximately 600 Khmer Viet Cong armed forces under the command of Sa Mov, called Try, set up shelters along a small river near by Tuol Kra Saing village VT 977-611, Roka Khpuos sub-district, Sa Ang district of Kandal province. Another 400 who had shelters in Chass village VT 989-428, VT 989-432, Koh Khel sub-district, also intended to set up new shelters near by Phrom Khsak and Phnom Tauch VT 989-573, VT 975-572 and VT 986-555, Prek Koy sub-district, Sa Ang district of Kandal province.
មានខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រដាប់អាវុធប្រហែល៦០០នាក់ ក្រោមបញ្ជាឈ្មោះ សាម៉ូវ ហៅ ទ្រី បានចូលមកតាំងជម្រកនៅតាមមាត់សឹ្ទងមួយក្បែរភូមិទួលក្រសាំង វ៉េតេៈ ៩៧៧-៦១១ សង្កាត់រការខ្ពស់ ស្រុកស្អាង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ប្រភពបានបន្ថែមថា ខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រហែល៤០០នាក់ផេ្សងទៀតដែលមានជំរុំនៅភូមិចាស់ វ៉េតេៈ៩៨៩-៤២៨, វ៉េតេៈ ៩៨៩-៤៣២ សង្កាត់កោះខែល ក៏បានមានគម្រោងចង់នៅបោះជំរុំថ្មី នៅក្បែរភ្នំផ្សាក និងភ្នំតូច វ៉េតេៈ ៩៨៩-៥៧៣, វ៉េតេៈ ៩៧៥-៥៧២ និងវ៉េតេៈ ៩៨៦-៥៥៥ សង្កាត់ព្រែកគយ ស្រុកស្អាង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាលដែរ។
