On March 22-25, 1973, about 500 Khmer Viet Cong of Battalion 112, under the command of Ta Matt and Ta Loep, equipped with PM-AC, AR-15, 4 60mm mortars, 15 B-40, 4 B-41, and 10 M-79, deployed around Trapeang Rum Lich , Dei Kraham VT 473-832,472-834,
473-834, 474-832, Krang Chek sub-district, Peang Lvea district of Kirirom province. The enemies intended to attack National Army based in Spean O Krang Ambel at VT 569-687. ចាប់ពីថ្ងៃទី២២-២៥ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ មានខ្មែរយៀកកុងប្រហែល៥០០នាក់ សិ្ថតនៅក្នុងកងវរៈសេនាតូចលេខ១១២ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ តាម៉ាត់ និងតាលឹប ប្រដាប់ដោយប៉េអ៊ឹម-អាសេ និងអាអ៊ា១៥ ជាពិសេសមានកាំភ្លើង៦០មម ៤ដើម, បេ-៤០ ចំនួន១៥ដើម, បេ-៤១ ចំនួន៤ដើម, អ៊ឹម៧៩ ចំនួន១០ដើម ផង បានចូលមកស្នាក់នៅជុំវិញត្រពាំងរំលេខដីក្រហម ក្នុងរង្វង់ចំណុច វ៉េតេៈ៤៧៣-៨៣២, ៤៧២-៨៣៤, ៤៧៣-៨៣៤, ៤៧៤-៨៣២ សង្កាត់ក្រាំងចេក ស្រុកពាំងល្វា ខេត្ដគីរីរម្យ។ ខ្មាំងខាងលើ មានបំណងចូលមកវាយប្រហារកងទ័ពជាតិ នៅស្ពានអូក្រាំងអំបិល ចំណុចវ៉េតេៈ៥៦៩-៦៨៧។
