|
In early August, Viet-Cong soldiers in Kirivong and Takeo banned Cambodian people from traveling in a group of more than 5 people. They arrested 5 villagers and executed them, driving Khmer Rebels so mad that they arranged their forces to fight against Viet-Cong soldiers, leaving 30 Khmer Rebels and 8 Viet-Cong soldiers dead and causing the withdrawal of Viet-Cong soldiers all at once. Then, the rebels group gathered their forces to attack Vietnamese soldiers in An Yang province and in Prey Kabass district, Takeo province.
កាលពីដើមខែសីហាពួកយៀកកុងនៅគីរីវង្ស និងនៅតាកែវបានហាម ពលរដ្ឋខ្មែរមិនឱ្យធ្វើដំណើរជាក្រុមហួសពី៥នាក់ឡើយ។ ពួកយៀកកុង បានចាប់អ្នកស្រុកចំនួន៥នាក់ ទៅសម្លាប់ចោល បណ្ដាលខាងខ្មែរឧទ្ទាម មានការឈឺចាប់ក៏រៀបទ័ពទៅវាយយៀកកុង បណ្ដាលឱ្យស្លាប់ ខ្មែរ៣០នាក់, ពួកយៀកកុងស្លាប់៨នាក់។ ភ្លាមៗនោះពួកយៀកកុង ក៏ដកទ័ពថយទៅទល់ដែនវិញ។ បន្ទាប់មកខ្មែរឧទ្ទាម ក៍លើកទ័ព ទៅវាយយួននៅខេត្ដអានយ៉ាងក្នុងស្រុកព្រៃកប្បាស ខេត្ដតាកែវ។
