On September-12-1973, some 400 armed Khmer Rebels led by Ni Em, commander, and Saret (former jurnalist) a deputy commander launched military activities ranging from Trang Traneang village, Bati district, to Cham Bak, Posmat, Krasaing and Bana villages in Kandal Stung district, Kandal province. The enemies had the intention to attack the base of the national armed forces along road 38 and Stung Meanchey Radio station.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ១២-កញ្ញា-១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចំនួន៤០០នាក់ប្រដាប់អាវុធ ក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះនី អែម និង ឈ្មោះ សារ៉េត (អតីតអ្នកកាសែត)ជាមេបញ្ជាការរងបានធ្វើចលនាចេញពីភូមិ ត្រាងត្រនាង ក្នុងស្រុកបាទី ឆ្លងកាត់តាមភូមិចំបក់ មករាយគ្នាចាប់ពី ភូមិពោធិស្មាត់, ភូមិក្រសាំង និង ភូមិបាណា ក្នុងស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឹង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ខ្មាំងមានគោលបំណងប្រុងវាយប្រហារទីតាំងទ័ពជាតិ នៅតាមផ្លូវលេខ៣៨ និងប៉ុស្ដិវិទ្យុស្ទឹងមានជ័យ។
