A villager said that when he went and searched for something in his house in Prek Thloeng village, he saw there were many enemies in a number equivalent to one battalion in region 15 deploying their force in Pra Theat village, Koh Thom district and in Kraing Kor village, Preah Put subdistrict, Kandal Stung district in order to surround and fire at the national army base over there. On September-05-1973, the national armed forces positioned at Krahm bridge, coupled with a few tanks, clashed with enemies gathering ready at the Kraham bridge. Some 23 enemies continued surrounding the national army base along the national road 21, and fired shells on Prek Pav.
អ្នកស្រុកម្នាក់ពេលដែលគាត់បានទៅចុះរើផ្ទះនៅភូមិព្រែកថ្លឹងបានឱ្យព័ត៌មានថាមានពួកខ្មាំងប្រហែលមួយកងវរសេនាតូច ក្នុងតំបន់លេខ១៥ នៅរាយបណ្ដាក់គ្នានៅភូមិប្រធាតុ ស្រុកកោះធំ និងភូមិក្រាំងគ សង្កាត់ព្រះពុទ្ធ ស្រុកកណ្ដាលស្ទឺងដោយឡោមព័ទ្ធបាញ់រះ លើកងទ័ពជាតិ។ ថ្ងៃ៥-កញ្ញា-១៩៧៣ កងទ័ពជាតិប្រចាំការនៅ ស្ពានក្រហមរួមជាមួយរថក្រោះបានជួបប្រយុទ្ធជាមួយខ្មាំងដែល ត្រៀមនៅស្ពានក្រហម។ នៅផ្លូវជាតិលេខ២១ ខ្មាំងហ្រហែល២៣នាក់ បន្ដសកម្មភាពឡោមព័ទ្ធកងទ័ពជាតិ និងបាញ់ផ្លោងចូលព្រែកកប៉ាវ។
