On September-17-1973, about 700 armed Khmer Rebels under the commander of Nat, hid themselves in Prek Thmei subdistrict. now Nat sent 200 soldiers to hide among people in villages ranging from Champuh Ka-Ek village to Tuol Sleng village and the rest in plantation of villagers in Prek Eng subdistrict. They also presented even at Prek Thmei subdistrict, Kean Svay district, Kandal province. The enemy's intention was to attack the bases of the National armed forces in Prek Pra village.
កាលពិថ្ងៃ១៧-កញ្ញា-១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រហែល៧០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធ ក្រោមបញ្ជាតាណាតដែលបានលាក់ខ្លួននៅសង្កាត់ព្រែកថ្មី និងសង្កាត់ឈើទាល។ ឥឡូវនេះបានបញ្ជូនទ័ព២០០នាក់ ឱ្យឡើងមកបង្កប់ នៅតាមផ្ទះអ្នកស្រុកចាប់ពីចំពុះក្អែក រហូតដល់ភូមិទួលស្លែង និងទ័ពមួយ ផ្នែកទៀតមកបង្កប់ខ្លួននៅតាមចំការអ្នកស្រុកម្ដុំសង្កាត់ព្រែកឯងនិង រាយគ្នាមកទល់សង្កាត់ព្រែកថ្មី ក្នុងស្រុកកៀនស្វាយ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ គោលបំណងខ្មាំងប្រុងវាយប្រហារទីតាំងកងទ័ពជាតិនៅភូមិព្រែកប្រា។
