Nget Khy joined Khmer Viet-Cong force in April 1971. He resigned from the forces latter on. During his days with the forces, he was in charge of the economic as a deputy chief and he was the chief supplier to the force. One day, there was fighting between Viet-Cong soldiers and national armed forces at his house in Kampong Trach. He was very frightened and escaped to the woods, but was arrested by the national army.
ង៉ែត ឃី ចូលបម្រើខ្មែរយៀកកុងក្នុងខែមេសា-១៩៧១ ក្រោយមក ឈប់ធ្វើ។ ពេលទៅធ្វើជាមួយយៀកុងសាម៉ីខ្លួនជាអនុប្រធានសេដ្ឋកិច្ច និងជាមេស្បៀងផ្ដល់ឱ្យទ័ពរបស់វា។ ថ្ងៃមួយនៅពេលមានការបាញ់គ្នា នៅផ្ទះសាម៉ីខ្លួនកំពង់ត្រាចរវាងយៀកកុង និងកងទ័ពជាតិ ខ្លួនមានការភ័យ រត់គេចចូលព្រៃក៍ត្រូវទាហានជាតិចាប់ខ្លួនបាន។
