Suong Khim was a political commissioner in company 7, battalion 21, regiment 128 in zone 203. He was forced to join the army in region 22, zone 203 in 1970. In regiment 128, there were 430 soldiers, under a commander Hakk, situated in Tayo village, Sa-ang distict, Kandal province. These forces were responsible for launching an assault in Phnom Penh outskirt and along national road 1 and all provinces. Khmer communist made propagada to their soldiers to try to struggle in order to destroy American empire, and to eliminate proletarian suppression so as to make up Cambodia country to be a communist country. Most of armed forces were gradually deteriorated because they lacked food, medicine and ammunitions, especially they were tired of fighting between Khmer and Khmer.
សួង ឃឹម ជាស្នងការនយោបាយប្រចាំកងអនុសេនាធំ ៧ កងវរសេនាតូច ២១ វរសេនាធំ ១២៨ ប្រចាំភូមិភាគ ២០៣។ ជននេះត្រូវខ្មាំងឱ្យចូលបម្រើកងទ័ពស្រុកក្នុងតំបន់ ២២ ភូមិភាគ ២០៣ក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៧០។ កងវរសេនាធំ ១២៨នេះស្ថិតនៅក្រោម មេបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ ហាក់ មានកម្លាំងទ័ពចំនួន៤៣០នាក់ប្រដាប់ដោយ អាវុធគ្រប់ធុនដែលមានទីតាំងនៅក្នុងភូមិតាយោ ស្រុកស្អាង ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ កងនេះមានភារកិច្ចវាយប្រហារនៅតាមជាយក្រុងភ្នំពេញ តាមផ្លូវជាតិលេខ១ និងគ្រប់ទីរួមខេត្ដទាំងអស់។ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដបាន និយាយបំផុសឱ្យយុទ្ធជនខំប្រឹងតស៊ូដើម្បីវាយកំចាត់ចក្រពត្ដិអាមេរិក ឈ្លានពាន និងបំបាត់វណ្ណៈជិះជាន់ ហើយដើម្បីធ្វើឱ្យប្រទេសកម្ពុជាក្លាយ ទៅជាកុម្មុយនិស្ដ។ ទឹកចិត្ដយុទ្ធជនមួយចំនួនធំត្រូវបានធ្លាក់ចុះមួយកំរិត ដោយសារមានការខ្វះខាតស្បៀងអាហារ ថ្នាំពេទ្យ គ្រាប់រំសេវ បែកបាក់ ពីគ្រួសារ«ពុកម្ដាយ ហើយពិសេសទៅទៀតពួកគេមានការនឿយណាយ និងសង្គ្រាមដែលធ្វើតែរវាងខ្មែរគ្នាឯង។
