On September 15, 1973, about 150 Khmer Rebel armed forces that was under the command of Prum Aun, had retreated from O Kraing Ambel and settled down in Ta Neang village of Kraing Ambel Sub-district, Samrong Tong district, Kampong Speu province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៥-កញ្ញា-១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមចំនួនប្រហែល១៥០នាក់ ប្រដាប់អាវុធគ្រប់ដៃក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ ព្រុំ អូន បានដកថយពី ម្ដុំអូរក្រាំងអំបិល ហើយចូលមកស្នាក់នៅភូមិតានាង សង្កាត់ក្រាំង អំបិល ស្រុកសំរោងទង ខេត្ដកំពង់ស្ពឺ។
