Ky Van admitted that he did serve the Khmer communist movement as a combatant in group 3, platoon 3, company 5, battalion 718, region 31. Since he served the military, he had never fought with the national armed forces but one day he was sent to prepare to help the enemy's force during attack Uddong but he was arrested by the national female a unit.
គី វ៉ន បានសារភាពថាពិតជាបានចូលខ្លួនធ្វើកុម្មុយនិស្ដពិតប្រាកដមែន ដោយមានមុខងារជាយុទ្ធជននៅក្នុងក្រុមទី៣ កងអនុសេនាតូចលេខ៣ កងអនុសេនាធំលេខ៥ កងវរសេនាតូចលេខ៧១៨ តំបន់៣១។ តាំងពីចូលធ្វើទ័ពសាម៉ីខ្លួនមិនដែលចេញប្រយុទ្ធទេ ទើបតែខ្មាំងឱ្យមកត្រៀម ចាំជួយពួកវាដែលឡើងទៅវាយឧត្ដុង្គ តែមិនទាន់បានឡើងទៅជួយផង ក៍ត្រូវកងទ័ពជាតិចាប់ខ្លួនតែម្ដង។
