On August 27, 1973, about 200 Khmer rebel and Viet-Cong equipped with arm from Kampong Chhnang, burnt doun houses in Chhlaung village and evacuated 40 families of Trapeang Snuol and Yong Khtoam village to the south. On September 5, 1973, they settled their base near national troop's base.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៧-សីហា-១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាម និងយួនយៀកកុងក្នុង ចំនួន ប្រហែល២០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃធ្វើចលនាចេញពី កំពង់ឆ្នាំង ចូលមកដុតបំផ្លាញផ្ទះអ្នកស្រុកចំនួន២០ខ្នង នៅភូមិឆ្លូង ព្រមទាំង កៀរអ្នកស្រុកចំនួន៤០គ្រួសារ ក្នុងភូមិ ត្រពាំងស្នួល និងភូមិយង់ខ្ទាំនាំ យកចេញទៅទិសខាងត្បូង។ ថ្ងៃទី ៥កញ្ញា ១៩៧៣ ខ្មាំងខាងលើបាននាំ ទ័ពចូលមកតាំងជម្រកជិត ទីតាំងកងទ័ពការពារជាតិ។
