Two months ago, the national armed forces lanched shells on the house of Pan, chief of Khmer rebels unit in region 3. Pan reported to his rebel chief named Thong Khoeun to attack the national army base at Srah Chhouk as a revenge. After the attack happened, another rebel chief named Em Seam who occupied Bak Prea subdistrict and Kbal Kaol subdistrict was very furious with Thong Khoeun because he told Thong Khoeun long ago not to attack that region where lived many relatives of his. Then, Em Seam decided to withdraw 150 soldiers out of Thong Khoeun's battalion without first informing Thong Khoeun.
កន្លង២ខែមកហើយដែលទ័ពជាតិបានបាញ់ផ្លោងទៅចំផ្ទះគ្រួសារ ឈ្មោះប៉ាន ជាមេកងឆ្មក់ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមនៅតំបន់៣។ ឈ្មោះនេះបានប្ដឹង ឱ្យមេឧទ្ទាមឈ្មោះថុង ឃឿន នាំកងទ័ពទៅវាយប្រហារទីតាំងទាហានជាតិ នៅស្រះឈូកដើម្បីសងសឹងឱ្យគ្រួសារខ្លួន។ ក្រោយវាយប្រហាររួច មេខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមឈ្មោះអែម ស៊ាម ដែលត្រួតត្រានៅសង្កាត់បាក់ព្រា និងក្បាលគោលក្ដៅក្រហាយ និងឈ្មោះថុង ឃឿន នេះណាស់ ព្រោះអីអែម ស៊ាមបានប្រាប់ជាយូរមកហើយកុំឱ្យទៅវាយ តំបន់ហ្នឹងព្រោះគ្រួសារវានៅទីនោះច្រើនម្លោះហើយក៍សមេ្រចដកកង ទ័ពចំនួន១៥០នាក់ពីកងវរសេនាតូចរបស់ថុង ឃឿន ភ្លាមដោយ ឥតប្រាប់មុន។
