On February 05, 1972, Yuon and Khmer Viet Cong soldiers, dug into Chong Sleuk mountain to store ammunition and weapons and wait for reinforcements from Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province. They then planned to attack the National Army in Tram Khnar district, Takeo province.
កាលពីថ្ងៃទី៥ ខែកុម្ភៈ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ មានខ្មែរវៀតកុង និងវៀតកុង យួនខាងជើងប្រហែល៣០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធបានធ្វើការ ជីកភ្នំចុងស្លឹក សម្រាប់ផ្ទុកគ្រាប់រំសេវ និងអាវុធរបស់ពួកគេ ដើម្បីត្រៀមចាំកងទ័ពជំនួយមកពីស្រុកគងពិសី ខេត្ដកំពង់ស្ពឺ មកដល់នឹងធ្វើការវាយប្រហារមកលើកកងទ័ពជាតិនៅត្រាំខ្នារ ខេត្ដតាកែវ។
