A source reported that on May 27, 1973, about 70 Khmer Rebels transported various mortar shells and stored then at WT 064-685,080-677,080-670 and WT
090-670 in Chae Teal sub-district, Kean Svay district, Kandal province. They also attempted to fire shells at Ta Khmao town and Chbar Ampov district, shortly thereafter. ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៧ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រហែល៧០នាក់ បានដឹកជញ្ជូនគ្រាប់កាំភើ្លងត្បាល់គ្រប់ធុនមកលាក់ទុក ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ០៦៤-៦៨៥, ០៨០-៦៧៧, ០៨០-៦៧០ និងក្នុងចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េតេ ០៩០-៦៧០ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ឈើទាល ស្រុកកៀនស្វាយ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។ ប្រភពបានបញ្ជាក់ ថាខ្មាំងមានគោលបំណងបាញ់ផ្លោងមកក្រុងតាខ្មៅ និងខ័ណ្ឌច្បារអំពៅ នៅក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗ។
