On May 24, 1971, Dieb Sarun was arrested by national war sub-region in Svay Rieng for illegal seize of 2 women's belongings.
He confessed that he was a soldiers in battalion 441, infantry brigade 1, which was under the command of Sar Saret and was assigned by In Tam, the head of National Assembly, to work in Takeo, Svay Rieng and Prey Veng province. ឌៀប សារុន ត្រូវបានចាប់ខ្លួននៅថ្ងៃទី២៤ ឧសភា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ដោយក្រុមចំរុះផ្នែកសឹករងស្វាយរៀង ពីបទទៅឆែកឆេរ និងចាប់របស់ រត់ពន្ធពីស្រី្ដពីរនាក់ដោយខុសច្បាប់។ សាម៉ីជនបានឆើ្លយថាធើ្វទាហានក្នុងកងវរសេនាតូច៤៤១ នៃកងពលតូចថើ្មជើងលេខ១ដែលមានមេបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ សរ សារ៉េត ហើយបានទទួលបេសសកម្មពីប្រធានរដ្ឋសភាអ៊ិន តាំ ទៅធើ្វការក្នុងខេត្ដតាកែវ ស្វាយរៀង និងព្រៃវែង។
