Koy Bauna served Khmer communist movement as a combattant in group 1, unit A-1, B-1, C-130, D-222,
E-182, region 22 zone 203. On November 29, 1974, he was arrested by national soldiers in Parachute battalion during the fighting in Knolka village, at VV:077-845. One AK-47 was seized from him. The arrested person also confessed that in his above mentioned unit, there were 160 men equipped with guns such as: M-81, M-60, AK-47. កុយ បូណា បានបម្រើក្នុងចលនាខ្មែរកុម្មុយនីស្ដក្នុងឋានៈជាយុទ្ធជនក្នុង ក្រុមទី១ ក្នុងអង្គភាពក-១, ខ-១, គ-១៣០, ឃ-២២២ និង ង-១៨២ ក្នុងតំបន់២២ ភូមិភាគ២០៣ ផ្នែកបូព៌ាទិស។ នៅថ្ងៃទី២៩ ខែវិចិ្ឆកា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ជននេះត្រូវបានកងទ័ពជាតិយើង ក្នុងកងវរសេនា តូចឆ័្រតយោងទី២ចាប់បានក្នុងពេលប្រយុទ្ធនៅសមរភូមិខ្នុរការ ត្រង់វ៉េវ៉េៈ០៧៧-៨៤៥ ជាមួយអាវុធធុនអាកា៤៧មួយដើមផង។ ក្នុងអង្គភាពនេះមានកម្លាំងទាំងអស់១៦០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធ កាំភើ្លង ១២០មម, អ៊ឹម៦០, អាកា៤៧។
