On December 13, 1971, Chey Mai was arrested by national soldiers, while he was walking to have his hair cut in Prek Pneou market.
I made business buying and selling cows, he confessed that he was forced by village chief to collect rice and money from people to supply Viet Cong soldier. So far, 1 basket of rice and money, 30 riels, were collected from villagers. កាលពីថ្ងៃទី១៣ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ កងទ័ពជាតិបានចាប់ឈ្មោះ ជៃ ម៉ៃ ជាអ្នកទិញលក់គោនៅភូមិឈើបួន សង្កាត់ម្កាក់ ស្រុកអង្គស្នួល ខេត្ដ កណ្ដាល នៅពេលដែលជននេះកំពុងដើរទៅរកកាត់សក់នៅឯផ្សារព្រែក ពៅ្ន។ ជននេះបានសារភាពថា ខ្លួនត្រូវបានប្រធានភូមិឈើបួន អ៊ុយ ចិក បង្ខំអោយដើរប្រមូលអង្ករ និងលុយពីប្រជាជនដើម្បីយកទៅអោយពួកយួនយៀកកុង។ អង្ករដែល ជៃ ម៉ៃ ប្រមូលបានមាន១តៅ និងលុយ៣០រៀល។
