A precious stones trader, Mang Thun Peak, confessed that in October 1971, there was a man who brought precious stones to sell to him but could not reach an agreement because of price. In November 15, 1971 that man wanted to sell the stones again but this time we reached an agreement on the price, so he buyed it. Thun Peak said that he did not know that man and also did not know where he live, just know that he lived in Phnom Penh.
ម៉ង ធុនពៀក របររកស៊ីទិញដូរត្បូងបានឆើ្លយថាកាលពីខែតុលា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ មានជនម្នាក់យកត្បូងមកលក់អោយគាត់តែមិនត្រូវថ្លៃគ្នា។ នៅថ្ងៃទី១៥ ខែវិចិ្ឆកា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧១ ជនដដែលនោះបានយកត្បូងមក លក់អោយខ្ញុំទៀត ហើយក៏និយាយថ្លៃគ្នាត្រូវ។ គាត់មិនស្គាល់ឈ្មោះអ្នកលក់ត្បូងនោះទេ ហើយក៏មិនដឹងនៅឯណាទេ គ្រាន់តែវាប្រាប់ថាវានៅភ្នំពេញប៉ុននោះ។
