Kai Veng was sent to learn military strategy by chief of a village. After finishing the training, he was sent to chief of sub-district to record name. Then he was sent to Prasat village before sending to Battalion 423, Platoon 3, Company 4 since November 1974.
He /she was arrested on December 25, 1974 by national army, Battalion 606, at Otuy Lat at VV 756-014, and one CKC gun was also seized. ឈ្មោះ កៃ វេង ត្រូវបានប្រធានភូមិឱ្យទៅរៀនក្បួនយុទ្ធសាស្ដ្រ និង បន្ទាប់ពីរៀនចប់ប្រភពត្រូវបានឈ្មោះ គន់ បញ្ជូនទៅឱ្យប្រធានសង្គាត់ ដើម្បីកត់ឈ្មោះ និងបញ្ជូនបន្ដមកភូមិប្រាសាទ ហើយក៏បញ្ចូល ក្នុងកងងវរសេនាតូច៤២៣ កងតូចទី៣ កងអនុសេនាធំ៤ តាំងពី ខែវិច្ឆិកា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ប្រភពត្រូវកងទ័ពជាតិនៅកងវរសេនាតូច៦០៦ ចាប់ខ្លួនបាននៅអូរទុយឡាត់ត្រង់ វីវី ៧៥៦-០១៤ រួមទាំងអាវុធ សេកាសេមួយដើមផង។
