Ek Ham, who looked after ducks Kot Ansang Dor ka village, Treang district, Takeo province, got permission from his boss to visit his family. On November 6, 1972, he was arrested at O Chambok by national soldiers in battalion 98 for being accused of enemy's spy.
ឯក ហម ជាកម្មករគង្វាលទា នៅភូមិកុតអន្សាំងដុរកា ស្រុកទ្រាំង ខេត្ដ តាកែវ។ ដោយមានការនឹករលឹកគ្រួសារពេក ខ្លួនបានសុំការអនុញ្ញាតិពីថៅកែទៅសួរសុខទុក្ខបងប្អូន និងឪពុកម្ដាយ។ លុះធើ្វដំណើរមកដល់អូចំបក់ ក៏ត្រូវកងទ័ពជាតិកងវរសេនាតូចលេខ៩៨ ចាប់ខ្លួនបាននៅថ្ងៃ ទី០៦ ខែវិចិ្ឆកា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧២ ដោយចោទប្រកាន់ថាជាភ្នាក់ងាររបស់ ខ្មាំងដែលចាត់អោយមកយកការណ៍ពីកងទ័ពជាតិ។
