The source reported that on November 10, 1971, maybe 300 North Yuon Viet Congs under the commander, Major Bai Koeng, Ngvieng Yang Hay, as well as 200 Khmer Viet Congs under commander, Kroem Vann, Men Sun, and Hao, gathered soldiers who had been arrested as well as their families and kept them in the forest behind Koh pagoda at VT 948-213 and VT 952-215. The source added that many vietnamese enemies came down from Pong mountain, Kong Pisey district in order to attack Banteay Meanchey in Tram Khna, were about to destroy Road 3 in the time later.
