On December 6, 1973, Mr. Seun Chea, brought his collegue, including the first lieutenant-chief of the Tonle sap region and somone who had been in secret communication with Hap Pheng, the direct communicator to defect. The Ministry noticed that Major Chhorn Hieng, and Major Dop Cheng, were satisfied and ordered their personnel to receive and greet them. Meanwhile, some soldiers were not satisfied with the defection, fearing that it would be revealed that they had carried food for them.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ ៦ ធ្នូ ១៩៧៣ លោក ស៊ឺន ជា បាននាំសហការី ចូលមកក្រសួងដោយរួមទាំងលោកអនុសេនីយ៍ទោនាយតំបន់ទនេ្លសាប ដែលជាអ្នកទាក់ទងរបៀបសម្ងាត់យូរមកហើយតាមរយៈឈ្មោះ ហាប់ ផេង អ្នកទៅទាក់ទងផ្ទាល់។ ចំពោះការចុះចូលរបស់ខ្មាំងនេះ ក្រសួង សងេ្កតឃើញលោកវរសេនីយ៍ទោ ឈន ហៀង និង លោក វរសេនីយត្រី ផុប ចេង មានការពេញចិត្ដបញ្ជាឱ្យបុគ្គលិក របស់ខ្លួន ទៅចាំទទួលទៀតផង ទន្ទឹមនេះក៏មាននាយទាហានខ្លះមិនពេញចិត្ដ ចំពោះការចុះចូលនេះឡើយព្រោះខ្លាចរៀងដែលខ្លួនផ្ដល់ស្បៀងឱ្យ ខ្មាំងពីមុនមកនោះត្រូវបែកការណ៍។
