On August 29, 1977 Vietnamese complained that Cambodian soldiers continuously invaded An Yan, Hieng Yang, Long An, and Tai Ninh provinces in Vietnam. At that time, we replied that our people and revolutionary soldiers were faithfully loyal to Vietnamese people and soldiers, because both countries were neighboring countries and had the correct-revolutionary political line. Otherwise, there was only Vietnamese who invaded Cambodian territorial integrity. The report was copied for uncle Nuon, brothers Vann, Vorn, Khieu, and the documentation office.
នៅថ្ងៃទី២៩ សីហា ១៩៧៧ វៀតណាមបានលើកឡើងថា កងទ័ព កម្ពុជាបានបំពារបំពានមកលើខេត្ដអានយ៉ាង, ហ៊េៀនយ៉ាង, ឡុងអាន និងតៃនិញ នៃប្រទេសវៀតណាមជាបន្ដបន្ទាប់។ យើងប្រាប់ទៅគេ វិញថា៖ ប្រជាជននិងកងទ័ពបដិវត្ដន៍យើងមានឆន្ទះល្អបរិសុទ្ធចំពោះ ប្រជាជននិងកងទ័ពវៀតណាម ពីព្រោះជាប្រទេសដែលនៅជិតគ្នាព្រម ជាមួយមានមាគ៌ានយោបាយបដិវត្ដត្រឹមត្រូវ។ ផ្ទុយទៅវិញមានតែ ខាងវៀតណាមទេ ដែលឈ្លានពានបូរណភាពទឹកដីមកលើកម្ពុជា។ ចម្លងជូន អុំនួន បងវ៉ាន់ បងវន បងខៀវ និងមន្ទីរឯកសារ។
