Nim Krin was a former chief of group 2 of company 2, battalion of militia for Koh Thom district in region 25. This company had 34 soldiers led by Khon responsible for defending Chong Khsach I village until Chong Khsach II village and Chruoy Snao village. Not all soldiers in the company 2 had a gun each because the company was just formed. 90% of people living in the region wanted to join in republic regime. Unable to endure the hardship any longer, Nim Krin came to join in republic region in Ka-am Samna on May 15, 1974.
នឹម គ្រិន អតីតជានាយក្រុមទី២ កងអនុសេនាធំទី២ វរសេនាតូច ឈ្លបប្រចាំស្រុកកោះធំ តំបន់ ២៥។ ក្នុងកងនេះមានកងទ័ពចំនួន ៣៤នាក់ហើយស្ថិតនៅក្រោមបញ្ជាការឈ្មោះ ខុន ដែលមានតួនាទី ការពារពីភូមិចុងខ្សាច់ទី១រហូតដល់ភូមិចុងខ្សាច់ទី២និងភូមិជ្រោយស្នោរ។ ចំពោះអាវុធនៅក្នុងកងអនុសេនាធំទី២គ្មានគ្រប់គ្នាទេ ព្រោះកងនេះទើបតែ បង្កើតថ្មី។ ប្រជាជនដែលរស់នៅក្នុងតំបន់នោះ ៩០ភាគរយមានបំណង ចង់មករួបរួមនឹងអជ្ញាធរសាធារណរដ្ឋវិញ។ ម្យ៉ាងទៀតមានការលំបាក វេទនាខ្លាំងពេកជននេះបានចូលមករួបរួម នៅថ្ងៃ១៥ ឧសភា ១៩៧៤ នៅក្អមសំណរ។
