On May-12-1972, about 100 North Yuon Viet-Cong soldiers equipped with B40 granades and automatic guns, slept in hammacks in a forest east of Kalei village VT873-710, 872-705. And deployed soldiers in the forest at VT898-710, between Sangkat Prey Sa and Sangkat Dangkao Kandal province aimed to attack Monyvong bridge and the radio station at Stung Meanchey.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ១២ ឧសភា ១៩៧២ មានពួកយៀកកុងយួនខាងជើង ប្រមាណ១០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធបេ៤០ និងកាំភ្លើងស្វ័យប្រវត្ដិ មានគ្រាប់បែកជុំវិញចងេ្កះបាន អង្រឹងដេកនៅម្ដុំព្រៃខាងលិច ភូមិកាឡី វេតេ ៨៧៣-៧១០, ៨៧២-៧០៥ និងខ្លះទៀតបានរាយគ្នាមក នៅចំណុចវេតេ ៨៩៨-៧១០ ក្នុងចន្លោះសង្កាត់ព្រៃស និងសង្កាត់ ដង្កោក្នុងគោលបំណងកមេ្ទចស្ពានមុនីវង្ស និងកមេ្ទចស្ថានីយ៍វិទ្យុស្ទឹង មានជ័យ។
