On May, 17, 1972, about 300 North Yuon Viet-Cong armed forces moved from Tnaot village and Kampong Trea village at VT957-534, to the jungle. They to deployed soldiers at VT932-550, and VT932-560, in Dang Prey village, Sangkat Sampoeu Prey. The enemies attempted to raid the National Army, where operating in position of enemies control.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ ១៧ ឧសភា ១៩៧២ មានពួកខ្មាំងយៀកកុងយួន ខាងជើងប្រមាណ៣០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធបានចេញពីភូមិ ត្នោត វេតេ ៩៥៧-៥៣៤, ភូមិកំពង់ទ្រា ចូលមកម្ដុំព្រៃក្រាស ហើយរាយគ្នាជាខ្សែបានតាំងនៅភូមិដងព្រៃ សង្កាត់សំពៅព្រៃ វេតេ ៩៣២-៥៥០, ៩៣២-៥៦០ ដើម្បីស្ទាក់កងការពារជាតិដែល ធ្វើប្រតិបត្ដិការទៅកន្លែងខ្មាំងកាន់កាប់។
