A source reported that on February 18, 1972, about 300 Viet Congs depareted from Chamka Leu, to in some abandoned villages at W 147-708, 146-718, 149-712, 144-723 and W 147-724. On February 20, 1972, about 300 Viet Congs hid themselvies in the forest near Chinit a small stream between W 208-846 and 230-857, in Kampong Thma quarter, Santuk district. The other 200 hid themselvies near Tang Krasang stream at W 237-927, 238-926, 233-918, in sangkat Kraya, Santuk district.
ប្រភព័ត៌មានបានផ្ដល់មកថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ ១៨ កុម្ភៈ ១៩៧២ យៀកកុងប្រដាប់អាវុធប្រហែល៣០០នាក់ ចុះពីស្រុកចំការលើ មក រាយគ្នាលាក់ខ្លួននៅតាមភូមិបោះបង់ចោល ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េ១៤៧-៧០៨, ១៤៦-៧១៨, ១៤៩-៧១២, ១៤៤-៧២៣ និង ១៤៧-៧២៤។ កាលពីថ្ងៃ ២០ កុម្ភៈ ១៩៧២ យៀកកុងប្រហែល ៣០០នាក់ លាក់ខ្លួននៅព្រែក្បែរមាត់ស្ទឹងជីនិត ចាប់ពីចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េ ២០៨-៨៤៦ រហូតដល់ ២៣០-៨៥៧ ក្នុងសង្កាត់កំពង់ថ្ម ស្រុកសន្ទុក។ យៀកកុងប្រហែល២០០នាក់ទៀត លាក់ខ្លួនក្នុងព្រៃក្បែរមាត់ស្ទឹងតាំងក្រសាំង ត្រង់ចំណុចឌុបដឺវ៉េ២៣៧-៩២៧, ២៣៨-៩២៦, ២៣៣-៩១៨ ក្នុងសង្កាត់ក្រយា ស្រុកសន្ទុក។
