Hoy Hon, was a deputy commander in defensive battalion of water way in region 31, Southwest zone. In this region 31 the military sections were not property organized because they had not number. In this regiment, there were 270 soldiers equiped with weapons, such as: 75mm heavy artillery gun, B-69, B-41, and other weapons. These soldiers were responsible for ambushing national navy a long Tonle sab river, situated from Chray village to Kompong Tamolkrom village. More importantly, they were to ambush national armed forces who came to liberate people in Santuk village. Khmer communist propogandized combatants to put all their effect to win the victory for the sack of people. They also accused the republic government American impire. Most of soldiers were unpleasent to serve khmer communist, because they tired of the war, and were miserable in living, speciallly they lack every thing.
ហ៊ុយ ហុន ជាមេបញ្ជាការរងស្ដីទីនៃកងវរសេនាតូចការពារជើងទឹក ប្រចាំតំបន់ ៣១ ភូមិភាគនិរតី។ នៅក្នុងតំបន់ ៣១នេះមានការរៀបចំ ផ្នែកនយោធាពុំទាន់ច្បាស់លាស់ទេពីព្រោះមិនមានលេខដាក់នៅឡើយ។ កងនះេមានកម្លាំងចំនួន២៧០នាក់ប្រដាប់ដោយកាំភ្លើង ធុន៧៥មម, បេ-៤១, បេ-៦៩ ព្រមទាំងអាវុធផេ្សងៗទៀត។ កង វរសេនាតូចនេះមាន ភារៈត្រៀមចាំបាញ់កងនាវារបស់កងទ័ពជាតិ តាមបណ្ដោយទនេ្លសាប ចាប់ពីភូមិជ្រៃរហូតដល់កំពង់តាមុលក្រោម និងជាពិសេសទៅទៀតត្រៀម ស្ទាក់វាយប្រហារទៅលើកងទ័ពជាតិដែលឡើងមករំដោះប្រជាជននៅភូមិ សន្ទន។ ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដបានឃោសនាបំផុសយុទ្ធជនឱ្យមានទឹកចិត្ដតស៊ូ ប្ដូរផ្ដាច់ដើម្បីជ័យជំនះជូនប្រជាជន ព្រមទាំងចោទប្រកាន់រដ្ឋាភិបាល សាធារណរដ្ឋថា ជាបរិវារបស់ចក្រពត្ដិអាមេរិក។ យុទ្ធជនភាគច្រើនមិន សប្បាយចិត្ដនឹងបម្រើពួកវាទេ។ មូលហេតុមកពីនឿយណាយនឹងសង្គ្រាម មានការពិបាកវេទនាក្នុងការរស់នៅ ខ្វះខាតគ្រប់បែបយ៉ាង។
