Han Riem aka Run, born in Tavang village, Bankam sub-district, Prey Kabass district, Takeo province. Riem was a chief of squad 1, group 2, platoon 5, regiment 13, Southwest zone. He defected on May 08, 1974 at Kampong Kantuot. The enemy had in doctrinated combatants to join the fighting in order to eliminate the capitalism and American social imperialism out of the country. The enemy's administrative section had formed a collective for making an exchange goods with people and also devided people into group in each sub-district, comprising of the rich and the poor. All of people property were collected and given back to people equally. All houses were rebuilt to look the same.
ហន រៀម ហៅ រុន កើតនៅភូមិតាវង សង្កាត់បាកាម ស្រុក ព្រែកប្បាស ខេត្ដតាកែវ ជាទាហានខ្មែរក្រហមមាននាទីជា នាយពួកទី១ ក្រុមទី២ កងអនុសេនាតូច៥ វរសេនាធំ១៣ ភូមិភាគនិរតីដែលត្រូវបានចុះ ចូលនៅថ្ងៃ៨ ឧសភា ១៩៧៤ នៅកំពង់កន្ដួត។ រៀមបានរាយការណ៍ ពីកងវរសេនាធំប្រចាំភូមិ ភាគនិរតីចែកជា៣កងអនុសេនាតូច។ ខាង មនោគមន៍វិជ្ជាខ្មាំងបានឃោសនាឱ្យយុទ្ធជនធ្វើចំបាំងដើម្បីបំបាត់របប សក្ដិភូមិជិះជាន់ជាពិសេសដេញចក្រពត្ដិអាមេរិក។ ផ្នែករដ្ឋបាលខ្មាំងបាន បង្កើតសហករណ៍សម្រាប់ទទួលរបស់ផេ្សងៗលក់ឱ្យប្រជាជន។ នៅសង្កាត់ នីមួយៗខ្មាំងបានរៀបចំជាក្រុមមានអ្នកមាន និងអ្នកក្រចូលគ្នាដើម្បីឱ្យ ទ្រព្យសម្បត្ដិមាសប្រាក់ដែលប្រមូលរួមនោះចែកបាន ស្មើគ្នាហើយរុះ ផ្ទះធ្វើដូចៗគ្នា។
