Summary / Abstract :
កំណត់សម្គាល់សេចក្ដីសង្ខេប :
Svay Samot was a Khmer Communist combatant in front line troop of Southwest zone. The person joined enemy since 1971 and served them until 1974. There was a total 10000 forces. Majority of them were single and came from Kampot and Kampong Speu. Later, on 400 of them were left because the fighting occured very often. Combatants were educated to unite together liberating the country from imperialist American and its allies, Lon Nol who had overthrown Sihanouk. Some of weapons of that unit was supplies by Chinese communist and some were seized from national troop. The majority of liberation troop did not want to defect because they thought they already had 99% of territory. Meanwhile, inhabitants wanted to defect to republic but they could not. The person defected because the person hate the communist suppressing inhabitants.
ស្វាយ សាមុត ជាខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដជាយុទ្ធជនក្នុងកងទ័ពស្រួចប្រចាំ ភូមិភាគនិរតី។ ជននេះបានចូលបម្រើខ្មាំងពី១៩៧១ រហូតដល់ ១៩៧៤។ កម្លាំងសរុបនៅក្នុងកងនេះមានប្រហែល១០០០០នាក់ ភាគច្រើននៅលីវហើយច្រើនមកពីកំពត កំពង់ស្ពឺ តែក្រោយមកនៅ សល់តែប្រហែល៤០០នាក់ប៉ុណ្ណោះ ពីព្រោះមានការប្រយុទ្ធគ្នាជា ញឹកញាប់នៅតាមសមរភូមិ។ ពួកខ្មាំងបានឃោសនាអប់រំដល់យុទ្ធជន ទាំងអស់ពួតដៃគ្នាដើម្បីរំដោះទឹកដីពីក្រញាំចក្រពត្ដិអាមេរិកកាំងនិង បរិវាក្បត់ជាតិលន់ ណល់ដែលប្លន់អំណាចយកមកធ្វើឱ្យសីហនុវិញ។ កងនេះត្រូវបានទទួលគ្រឿងសព្វាវុធជំនួយពីចិនកុម្មុយនិស្ដ និងមួយ ចំនួនទៀតបានមកពីការវាយបានពីកងទ័ពជាតិនៅតាមសមរភូមិនានា។ កងរំដោះភាគច្រើនមិនចង់មករួបរួមក្នុងសង្គមជាតិវិញទេ ពីព្រោះគេ យល់ថារំដោះទឹកដីបាន៩៩ភាគរយហើយ។ តែចំណែកប្រជាជនវិញ គេចង់មកខាងរបបសាធារណរដ្ឋច្រើនតែរកមធ្យោបាយមកពុំរួច។ ជន នេះចូលមកចុះចូលដោយសារមានការឈឺចាប់នឹងរបបកុម្មុយនិស្ដប្រើ អំណាចជិះជាន់សង្កត់សង្កិនលើប្រជាជនពេក។
