Chham was 25 years old, male. He was a deputy commander of regiment 1, unit C-50, company 1. After the coup on March 18, 1970, he joined in the local army in Brasot district. Until 1974, he was appointed to be a deputy commander of regiment 1 by Khmer Rouge until his defected day.He was an investigation agent of Vietcong man-Chin E-taing and also was a Vietnamese translator. However, he had a strong felling against Khmer Rouge clique. The weapons and ammunition of regiment were provided by the north Vietnamese, but for food supply was their own responsibility.
ឆាំ ភេទប្រុស អាយុ ២៥ ឆ្នាំ មានឋានៈជាអនុប្រធានកងវរៈលេខ១ កងសេនា៥០ នៃកងពលធំលេខ១។ ជននេះបានចូលបម្រើកងទ័ពស្រុក ប្រសូត្រក្រោយថ្ងៃ១៨ មីនា ១៩៧០។ ដល់ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ក៍ត្រូវបាន អង្គការខ្មែរក្រហមតែងតាំងជាអនុប្រធានកងវរលេខ១ រហូតដល់ថ្ងៃ សារភាព។ សាម៉ីជននេះជាភ្នាក់ងារសម្ងាត់របស់យួនយៀកកុង ឈ្មោះ ជិន អ៊ី តាំង និងជាអ្នកបកប្រែភាសាយួនផង។ ប៉ុន្ដែជននេះមាន គោលជំហរប្រឆាំងដាច់ខាតជាមួយនឹងពួកខ្មែរក្រហមកងនេះត្រូវបាន ពួកយួនខាងជើងជួយឧបត្ថម្ភគ្រឿងសព្វាវុធ និងគ្រាប់រំសេវតែ ចំពោះស្បៀងអាហារវិញត្រូវដោះស្រាយខ្លួនឯង។
