Prum Saphan defected on March 25,1974 at Chungrok Pram village and the same day another 13 men of white scarf khmer also defected at Khcheay village in WT937-270 area. In 1974, there was a confliction between Khmer Communist and White Khmer as a majority of them still followed Sihanouk line, Khmer traditional and Buddhist religion. At that period, most of Khmer communist men defected to that group which was situated in XT130-340 of Prey Chamkar area. In 1974, Vietnamese communist official had lunch a campaign to propagandize and persuade Cambodia military to change their nationality into Vietnamese. So they could join Khmer and Vietnamese union unit in order to attack the South Vietnamese troop successfully and then turned attack Cambodia, because in Indochina region had only one party called Indochinese communist party. White Khmer consisted of 2 regiments stationing in Prey Ta Y. They mixed with Viet Cong Army who were in Kaki clothes. There was a picture of Sihanouk on their shirt pockey and they called themselve Sihanouk force. This Khmer white force caused chaotic within Khmer Rouge and people in region 23, Svay Rieng.
ព្រុំ សាផន បានចុះចូលនៅថ្ងៃ២៥ មីនា ១៩៧៤នៅភូមិជង្រុក ព្រមទាំងក្រុមខ្មែរកន្សែងស១៣នាក់ទៀតនៅភូមិខ្ជាយត្រង់ ឌឹប៊លយូធី ៩៣៧-២៧០។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដនិងខ្មែរសមានការ ខ្វែងគំនិតគ្នាព្រោះមួយភាគធំប្រកាន់ខ្ជាប់គម្រោងការណ៍ដឹកនាំរបស់ សេ្ដចសីហនុនិងប្រកាន់ប្រពៃណីខ្មែរនិងព្រះពុទ្ធសាសនា។ ពេលនោះ មានខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដជាច្រើនបានរត់មកចូលនឹងក្រុមនេះដែលមាន ទីតាំងនៅត្រង់ម្ដុំព្រៃចំការអេចធី ១៣០-៣៤០។ នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៧៤ ដដែលមានកម្មាភិបាលយួនកុម្មុយនិស្ដបានឃោសនាថាខ្មែរទាំងអស់ ដែលនៅក្នុងជួរកងទ័ពជាមួយយួនត្រូវប្ដូរសញ្ញាតិជាវៀតណាមហើយ បញ្ចូលជាកងឯកភាពយួនដើម្បីរួមគ្នាវាយយកជ័យជំនះនៅយួនខាង ត្បូងនិងបន្ទាប់មកនៅប្រទេសខ្មែរពីព្រោះនៅឥណ្ឌូចិនមានបក្សតែមួយ គត់គឺបក្សកុម្មុយនិស្ដឥណ្ឌូចិន។ ខ្មែរសមានកម្លាំងចំនួន២កងវរ សេនាធំបានបោះជុំរុំនៅក្នុងព្រៃតាអីនិងនៅលាយលំគ្នាជាមួយទ័ព យៀកកុងយួនដែលមានសំលៀកបំពាក់ពណ៌តេ្រអ៊ីនិងគកីហើយនៅលើ ហោ)េ៉ៅអាវមានរូបសីហនុនិងសរសេរអក្សរថាទ័ពសីហនុ។ ក្រុមខ្មែរ សនេះបានធ្វើឱ្យមានការជ្រួលច្របល់ក្នុងកងទ័ពខ្មែរកុម្មុយនិស្ដ និង ប្រជាជននៅតំបន់២៣ខេត្ដស្វាយរៀង។
