But Bun enlisted in the enemy's party in 1973 and work as a village militia Man at Angsnuol district. The person defected to national troop on May-21-1974 when he was sent to work as a combatant of battalion 25, region 15. Battalion 251 was devided into 3 units and its duty was to seize Phnom Penh city and to sent women combatant to join in an attacking of Longvek. Inhabitants, combatants, scholars and farmer were depressed by losing freedom, properties and forcing to join in the army. They also hated Angkar, because Angkar put much pressure on an educated people and limited the age of marriage.
ប៊ុត ប៊ុន ចូលបម្រើខ្មាំងឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ក្នុងកងឈ្លបស្រុកអង្គស្នួល។ ១១៩៧៤ ត្រូវបានបញ្ជូនឱ្យទៅធ្វើយុទ្ធជនក្នុងកងវរសេនាតូច លេខ២៥១ ប្រចាំតំបន់១៥ ហើយក៍បានរត់ចុះចូលកងទ័ពជាតិនៅ ថ្ងៃ២១-ឧសភា-១៩៧៤។ កងវរសេនាតូចលេខ២៥១ ចែកចេញជា៣ កងមានបេសកកម្មវាយប្រហារទីតាំងការពារទីតាំងនានានៃទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ ព្រមទាំងបានបញ្ជូនកងនារីមួយចូលរួមវាយនៅលង្វែក។ សព្វថ្ងៃទាំង ប្រជាជនស្ដ្រី និងបញ្ញាជនទាំងកម្មករកសិករសុទ្ធតែមិនពេញចិត្ដ និងខ្មែររំដោះទេព្រោះខ្មាំងបានរឹបអូសយកទ្រព្យសម្បត្ដិប្រជាជន នៅដាក់រួមបង្ខិតបង្ខំឱ្យធ្វើការរួមបំបាត់សិទ្ធិសេរីភាពគ្រប់យ៉ាងបង្ខំ យុទ្ធជនយុទ្ធនារីចូលទ័ពលើកស្ទួយតែអ្នកល្ងិតល្ងង់ឱ្យកាន់អំណាច ត្រួតលើអ្នកចេះដឹងនិងបញ្ញាវ័ន្ដកំរិតអាយុបុរសនារីក្នុងការរៀបការ។
