A source said that on August 02, 1973, about 600 armed Khmer guerrillas, 150 of whom were North Viet Congs, moved from Tra Nup Roka village, Toek La-ak sub-district, Kong Pisey district, Kampong Speu province. Those enemies attempted to move to Sleng pagoda in Pratea Lang sub-district, Dang Kor district, Kandal province on August 3, 1973 at 3 o'clock.
ប្រភពផ្ដល់ថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ ២ សីហា ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រហែល ៦០០នាក់ ក្នុងនោះមានយៀកកុង១៥០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធ គ្រប់ដៃបានចេញពី ភូមិទ្រនប់រការ ឃុំទឹកល្អក់ ស្រុកគងពិសី សំដៅទៅភូមិតារោង ឃុំរកាកោះ ស្រុកគងពិសី កំពង់ស្ពឺ។ នៅក្នុងថ្ងៃ ទី៣ សីហា ១៩៧៣ វេលាម៉ោង៣ ពួកវាបានមក ភូមិស្រម៉ និងមានបំណងធ្វើដំណើរមកកាន់វត្ដស្លែង ឃុំប្រទាឡាង ស្រុកដង្កោ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
