A source said that on July 28, 1973, about 300 armed Khmer guerrillas moved from Kampong Svay village toward Kampong Thom town. Those enemies attempted to attack our National Armed Forces base located arround Kampong Thom town in the near future.
ប្រភពផ្ដល់ថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ ២៨ សីហា ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាម ចំនួនប្រហែលជា៣០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ បានចេញ ពីភូមិកំពង់ស្វាយ សំដៅទៅក្រុងកំពង់ធំ ក្នុងគោលបំណងវាយ ប្រហារទីតាំងការពារយើងនៅជុំវិញក្រុងកំពង់ធំ ក្នុងពេលឆាប់ៗខាង មុខនេះ។
