A source said on August 08, 1973, about 100 Khmer rebels moved from the forest at VT953-658, located behind the Toek Vil village, to dig trenches along Basac river and National road ៈ21 at Vt958-674, VT955-672 and VT961-670. On August 8, 1973, those enemies shot dead a Reumak cycle driver, about 300 metres from Prek Samrong pagoda in Ta Khmao sub-district, Kandal province.
ប្រភពផ្ដល់ថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី ៧ សីហា ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រមាណ ១០០នាក់ បានចេញពីព្រៃក្រោយភូមិទឹកវិល ត្រង់វ៉េតេ៩៥៣-៦៥៨ មកជីកលេណដ្ឋានតាមដងទនេ្លបាសាក់ និងផ្លូវជាតិលេខ២១ត្រង់ វ៉េតេ៩៥៨-៦៧៤ វ៉េតេ៩៥៥-៦៧២ វ៉េតេ៩៦១-៦៧០។ កាលពីថ្ងៃ ៨ សីហា ១៩៧៣ ម៉ោង៥ ខ្មាំងខាងលើបានបាញ់ កម្មកររឺម៉កម្នាក់ស្លាប់នៅចម្ងាយ៣០០ម៉ែត្រ ហួសវត្ដព្រែកសំរោង ក្នុងឃុំតាខ្មៅ។
