A source said on On July 23, 1973, about 200 Viet Congs and 80 Khmer guerrillas, equipped with various guns such as BMKC guns, eight B40 guns, four 60 mm heavy artillery guns and two 82 mm heavy artillery guns, moved from Angkor Wat temple toward VV180-672 in Sang Veuy sub-district, Chy Kreng district, Siem Reap province. Those Viet Congs above will withdraw from Siem Reap province in the near future. They provided many weapons to Khmer rebels who were living in that area, under the commant of Chea, chief of economic region.
ប្រភពឱ្យដឹងថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី ២៣ កក្កដា ១៩៧៣ យួនយៀកកុង ចំនួន ២០០នាក់ និងខ្មែរឧទ្ទាម៨០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធ បេអឹមកាសេ, បេ៤០ ចំនួន៨ដើម កាំភ្លើង ត្បាល់ទំហំ៦០ មីលីម៉ែត្រ៤ដើម កាំភ្លើងត្បាល់ ៨២មីលីម៉ែត្រ ២ដើម បានដកថយ ចេញពីអង្គរវត្ដ ហើយទៅឈប់សម្រាកចម្ងាយ៣០០ម៉ែត្រ ត្រង់ចំនុចវ៉េវ៉េ១៨០-៦៧២ ក្នុងឃុំសង្វើយ ស្រុកជីក្រែង ខេត្ដសៀមរាប។ យួនយៀកកុងបានប្រគល់គ្រឿងសញ្វវុធឱ្យមិត្ដ ជា ដែលជាប្រធានសេដ្ឋកិច្ច។ យួនយៀកកុងនឹងចេញពីខេត្ដសៀមរាបឱ្យអស់ក្នុងរយៈ ពេល៤ឬ៥ថ្ងៃខាងមុខនេះ។
