A source said that on July 10, 1973, Viet Cong deployed 20 of 82 mm and 120 mm mortars in Trapeang Pring village at XU124-804, 10 mortars in a forest at XU143-802 and the other ten in Kratie district. They forced 70 percent of people to get out from Kratie provincial town.
ប្រភពបានឱ្យដឹងថា កាលពីថ្ងៃ ១០ កក្កដា ១៩៧៣ យៀកកុងបាន យកកាំភ្លើងត្បាល់ទំហំ ១២០មីលីម៉ែត្រ និង៨២មីលីម៉ែត្រចំនួន ២០ដើម មកតាំងនៅភូមិត្រពាំងព្រីង ត្រង់ចំនុចអ៊ិចអ៊ុយ១២៤-៨០៤ ចំនួន១០ដើមមកតាំងនៅក្នុងព្រៃត្រង់អ៊ិចអ៊ុយ១៤៣-៨០២ ចំនួន១០ដើមទៀតតាំងនៅក្នុងស្រុកក្រចេះ។ ពួកវាបានបញ្ជូន ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋស្លូតត្រង់ចាកចេញពី ទីប្រជុំជនក្រចេះ ហើយប្រជាជន ៧០ភាគរយបានភៀសខ្លួនចេញពីក្រុងក្រចេះ។
