On August 29, 1973 about 1500 Viet Congs and Khmer rebels equipped with various guns transported 27 shells of 122 m/m rockets by 9 ox-cart toward Ang Taset I village, Chan Sen sub-district Tra Peang Lvea district, Kirirom sub-province. Some 200 Armed Khmer Rebels were assigned to mingle with villagers in Phnom Dei village, Samrong Leu sub-district, ANg Snoul district, Oudong Meanchey sub-province. Those enemies attempted to smash Pochin Tong airport and also fire shells at Phnom Penh city in the near future.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ ២៩ សីហា ១៩៧៣ យៀកកុងយួន និងខ្មែរឧទ្ទាម ប្រមាណ ១៥០០នាក់ប្រដាប់ដោយអាវុធគ្រប់ដៃ បានចេញ ពីខេត្ដកំពង់ឆ្នាំង ដោយដឹកគ្រាប់រ៉ុកកែត ១២២ មីលីម៉ែត្រចំនួន ២៧គ្រាប់ តាមរទេះគោចំនួន៩គ្រឿង សំដៅទៅកាន់ភូមិអង្គតាសិត១ ក្នុងឃុំចាន់សែន ស្រុកពាំងល្វា«គីរីរម្យ»។ ពួកខ្មាំងបានចាត់តាំង គ្នាវាចំនួន២០០នាក់ ឱ្យទៅបង្កប់ខ្លួនក្នុងភូមិភ្នំដី ឃុំសំរោងលើ ស្រុកអង្គស្នួល«ឧដុង្គមានជ័យ»។ ដើម្បីត្រៀមវាយប្រហារ យកព្រលានយន្ដហោះពោធិចិនតុង ព្រមទាំងបាញ់ផ្លោងចូលទីក្រុង ភ្នំពេញម្ដងទៀតផង។
