A source said Bon Ly alias Yei was a former Khmer liberation, and a perpetrator who used to kill a lot of people in Kandal province. He was in charge of providing food stuffs, medicines and fands for Khmer guerrilla in their occupied area.
តាមប្រភពបានឱ្យដឹងថា ឈ្មោះ ប៊ុន លី ហៅអាចារ្យយី ជាអតីត ឥស្សរៈ យើជាអ្នកដៃដល់ធ្លាប់សម្លាប់ប្រជាពលរដ្ឋអស់ជាច្រើន គឺជាអ្នកផ្គត់ផ្គង់ស្បៀង និងថ្នាំពេទ្យព្រមទាំងប្រាក់កាសពីក្រុងតាខ្មៅ យកទៅឱ្យពួកខ្មាំងដែលនៅក្នុងតំបន់របស់វាកាន់កាប់។
