On July 20, 1973, Kampong Som province and Kampong Sela province were combined to be one province, under provincial governer, comrade Lanh. On the other hand, Khmer guerrillas also appointed chief of cadre in province, sub-district, district and some villages.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ ២០ ខែកក្កដា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមបានបញ្ជូលខេត្ដ កំពង់សោម និងកំពង់សិលាជាខេត្ដមួយដែលមានឈ្មោះសម មិត្ដ ឡាញ ជាអភិបាលខេត្ដ ព្រមទាំងតែងតាំងគណៈកម្មាភិបាលខេត្ដ ស្រុកឃុំព្រមទាំងភូមិមួយចំនួនទៀត។
