On July 13, 1973, about 300 Khmer guerrillas, 120 of whom were Khmer Kampuchea Krom, travelled a long National road ៈ6 in the North of Prey Chrok district at UV: 458-952 toward the South of Siem Reap province. These Khmer guerrillas attempted to attack on the National Armed Forces Base in Phnom Krom mountain.
កាលពីថ្ងៃ ១៣ កក្កដា ឆា្នំ៩៧៣ ខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមប្រមាណ៣០០នាក់ ក្នុងចំនោមពួកខ្មាំងខាងលើនេះ មានខ្មែរកម្ពុជាក្រោមចំនួន១២០នាក់ ធ្វើដំណើរឆ្លងកាត់ផ្លូវជាតិលេខ៦ខាងជើងព្រៃជ្រូកត្រង់ អ៊ុ៉យវ៉េ៤៥៨-៩៥២ សំដៅទៅទិសខាងត្បូង។ ពួកខ្មែរឧទ្ទាមទាំង នេះមានបំណងប្រុងទៅវាយប្រហារទីតាំងកងទ័ពយើងនៅភ្នំក្រោម។
