A source reported that on June 6, 1973, some 300 Khmer Rebels, equipped with 82 mortar, four 60 mm heavy guns, ten M-79 heavy guns, four B-40 and two PMAC guns, under the command of Ta Vann, traveled from Piem Trang village VT 691-654 in Sangkat Roka, Kandal Stung distric in order to help their troops in Battalion 130, under the command of Ta Sieng, which was fighting with the National Army in Trapeang Kha Chao village VT 741-679 in Sangkat DangKao, Boeng Thom district, Kandal province.
ប្រភពបានផ្ដល់មកថា នៅថ្ងៃទី៦ ខែមិថុនា ឆ្នាំ១៩៧៣ មានពួកខ្មែរឧទ្ទាម ប្រមាណ៣០០នាក់ ប្រដាប់ដោយកាំភ្លើងត្បាល់ត្បាល់ធុន ៨២មីលីម៉ែត្រ, ៦០មីលីម៉ែត្រ ចំនួន៤ដើម, អឹម៧៩ ចំនួន១០ដើម, បេ៤០ ចំនួន៤ដើម, ០អ៊ែអឹមអាសេចំនួន២ដើម ដែលស្ថិតក្រោមបញ្ជាការ ឈ្មោះ តាវ៉ាន់ បានធ្វើចលនាចេញពីភូមិពាម ត្រង់ចំណុចវ៉េតេ ៦៩១-៦៥៤ ក្នុងសង្កាត់រកា ស្រុកកណ្ដាលសឹ្ទង ដើម្បីទៅ ជួយកងទ័ពវា ក្នុងកងវរសេនាតូច១៣០ដែលស្ថិតនៅក្រោមបញ្ជាការ ឈ្មោះ តា សឿង ដែលកំពុងជាប់វាយប្រហារជាមួយកងទ័ពជាតិយើង នៅភូមិត្រពាំងខ្ចៅ ត្រង់វ៉េតេ ៧៤១-៦៧៩ ក្នុងសង្កាត់បឹងធំ ស្រុកដង្កោ ខេត្ដកណ្ដាល។
