2nd class lieutenant Tren Ngok Toeung, North Vietnamese spy, confessed that on April 23, 1978 he entered to spy on Cambodia in order to find out Cambodia military bases close to the border in Phiek Long district for five days. Moreover, on April 29, 1978 he deeply entered Cambodia at Phnom Krang Mountain in Mondul Kiri province, during that time he was surrounded and arrested by Cambodia soldiers on April 29, 1978.
ត្រឹន ង៉ុកតឿង សក្កិ១ ធីវគី ជាភ្នាក់ងារចារកម្មយួន បានសារភាព ថា នៅថ្ងៃ២៣-៤-១៩៧៨ បានចូលមកស៊ើបការណ៍នៅកុ្នងប្រទេស កម្ពុជាដើម្បីរុករកទីតាំងទ័ពកម្ពុជាជាប់ព្រំដែនស្រុកភៀកឡុង អស់ រយៈពេល ៥ថ្ងៃ។ នៅថ្ងែទី២៩-៤-១៩៧៨ បានចូលជ្រៅកុ្នង ដីកម្ពុជាដល់ភំ្នក្រងខេត្ដមណ្ឌលគីរី ពេលនោះត្រូវបានកងទ័ពកម្ពុជា ព័ទ្ធចាប់ខ្លួនបាននៅថ្ងៃទី២៩-៤-១៩៧៨។
