In the Pol Pot's time, Chhor Sileap was evacuated to Rakar Krom village, Sa-Ang district and Kort Lun, Chum sub-district, Preah Net Preah district, Region 5, Battambang province. He did not get enough food, and his parents died of starvation. He saw Khmer Rouge kill people with his eyes. He suggested the tribunal for sentencing Khmer Rouge soon because he was afraid that Khmer Rouge leaders will die. In the interviewer's opinion, Chhor Sileap felt happy to get the documents of the DC-CAM.
ឈរ ស៊ីលាភ ត្រូវខ្មែរក្រហមជម្លៀសទៅភូមិរកាក្រោម ស្រុកស្អាង និងភូមិគតលន់ ឃុំជប់ ស្រុកព្រះនេត្រព្រះ តំបន់៥ ខេត្ដបាត់ដំបង។ គាត់ហូបមិនបានគ្រប់គ្រាន់ទេ ហើយឱពុកម្ដាយគាត់ស្លាប់ដោយអត់ អាហារ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ឃើញគេសំលាប់មនុស្សផ្ទាល់ភ្នែគ។ គាត់ សំណូមពរឱ្យមានការកាត់ទោសខ្មែរក្រហមឱ្យបានឆាប់ ពីព្រោះគាត់ ខ្លាចមេដឹកនាំខ្មែរក្រហមស្លាប់អស់។ តាមយោបល់អ្នកសម្ភាសន៍ ឈរ ស៊ីលាភមានការសប្បាយរីករាយក្នុងការទទួលឯកសារនៃ មជ្ឈមណ្ឌលឯកសារកម្ពុជា ។
