Iem Bros's ex-wife called Oeu Veng Nor. Oeu Veng Nor died when she was 28 years old because of Malaria. Iem Bros marreid a second wife called Kung Nitt in 1995. He has three children. His father called Suon. Suon was killed by the Khmer Rouge soldiers. His mother called Sum Seng died in 1981. He has 6 siblings, but two of them died. One of his siblings called Iem Nat died in 1995 and the other one died last year. In the Khmer Rouge regime, he was lacking of food, shelter and water. He was brainwashed. He was force to separate from his family and friends. He used to suffocate during 1987-1988. Recently, he feels as if the event is happening again. He has recurrent nightmares. He is unable to feel emotions. He finds it is difficult in concentrating. He has trouble sleeping. He is avoding thoughts associated with the traumatic experience. He feels ashmed of the hurtful events.
អៀម ប្រុស មានប្រពន្ធដើមម្នាក់ឈ្មោះ អឿ វេង ន។ អឿ វេង ន ស្លាប់នៅពេលគាត់អាយុ២៨ឆ្នាំដោយជំងឺគ្រុនចាញ់។ អៀម ប្រុសរៀបការប្រពន្ធទីពីរឈ្មោះ គង់ និត្យនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៩៥។ អៀម ប្រុសមានកូនបីនាក់។ ឪពុករបស់គាត់ឈ្មោះសួន។ សួនត្រូវបានទាហ៊ានខែ្មរក្រហមសម្លាប់។ ម្ដាយរបស់គាត់ឈ្មោះស៊ុម សេងស្លាប់នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៨១។ គាត់មានបងប្អូន៦នាក់ ប៉ុនែ្ដពីរនាក់ស្លាប់។ ក្នុងចំណោមពីរនាក់នោះបងប្អូនម្នាក់ឈ្មោះអៀម ណាតស្លាប់នៅឆ្នាំ១៩៨១ ហើយម្នាក់ទៀតស្លាប់ឆ្នាំទៅមិញ។ នៅសម័យខែ្មរក្រហមគាត់ខ្វះខាតម្ហូបអាហារ និងថ្នាំពេទ្យព្យាបាល។ គាត់ត្រូវគេផ្លាស់ប្ដូរគំនិត។ គាត់ត្រូវខែ្មរក្រហមបំបែកចេញពីសមាជិកគ្រួសារដោយបង្ខំ។ គាត់ធ្លាប់ថប់ដង្ហើមនៅឆ្នាំ១៩៨៧-១៩៨៨។ បច្ចុប្បន្ន គាត់គិតថាគាត់ហេតុការណ៍ទាំងនោះកំពង់តែកើតមានឡើងជាថ្មីម្ដងទៀត។ គាត់យល់សប្ដិអាក្រក់ជារឿយៗ។ គាត់ពុំអាចនឹងមានអារម្មណ៍អី្វសោះ។ គាត់ពីបាកប្រមូលអារម្មណ៍គិតទៅលើអី្វមួយ។ គាត់ពិបាកនៅក្នុងការទទួលទានដំណេក។ គាត់ចង់ជៀសវាងមិនឱ្យគិតអំពីហេតុការណ៍ដ៏ក្រៀមក្រំចិត្ដរបស់គាត់។ គាត់គិតថាគួរឱ្យអៀនខ្មាសអំពីហេតុការណ៍ដ៏ឈឺចាប់ដែលបានកើតមានចំពោះគាត់។
