The Cambodian government radio announced the appointment of two Deputy Ministers. They were Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ieng Sary, who had been described as close to Hanoi and Deputy Defence Minister, Son Sen, a major figure in the armed forced. Both men would be attached to the Premier's office.
វិទ្យុរដ្ឋាភិបាលកម្ពុជា បានចេញផ្សាយពីការតែងតាំងអនុរដ្ឋមន្ដ្រី២រូប។ អៀង សារី ជាអនុរដ្ឋមន្ដ្រីការបរទេស អ្នកដែលបានជិតស្និតនឹងទីក្រុងហាណូយ និង ម្នាក់ទៀត សុន សេន ជាអនុរដ្ឋមន្ដ្រីការពារជាតិ។ អ្នកទាំង២នាក់នឹងតែងតាំងទៅការិយាល័យនាយករដ្ឋមន្ដ្រី។
