Hanoi radio announced the formation of a Kampuchean United Front for National Salvation in what it termed the "Leberated Zone" of Cambodia and reported that the front had called on the entire people to rise up for the struggle to over throw the Pol Pot and Ieng Sary clique.
វិទ្យុក្រុងហាណូយបានផ្សាយពីការបង្កើតរណសិរ្សសាមគ្គីជាតិកម្ពុជាសម្រាប់ការសង្គ្រោះជាតិលើអ្វីដែលហៅថា«តំបន់រំដោះ» នៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា និងបានផ្សាយថារណសិរ្ស បានអំពាវនាវដល់ប្រជាជនឱ្យក្រោកឈរឡើងដើម្បីតស៊ូយកជោគជំនះលើពួកប៉ុល ពត និង អៀង សារី។
