By a vote of 189 to 49, the Democratic caucus resolved that it firmly opposed any more military aid to either Cambodia or South Vietnam. Later, a House subcommittee defied the caucus and voted to provide $82.5 million of emergency arm aid to Cambodia.
តាមការបោះឆ្នោតពី១៨៩មក៤៩ គណបក្សប្រជាធិបតេយ្យដោះស្រាយជំទាស់យ៉ាងមុតមាំពីជំនួយយោធាមកកាន់កម្ពុជារឺក៏វៀតណាមខាងត្បូង។ បន្ទាប់មកតំណាងអនុគណៈកម្មាធិការបានកំណត់អំពីដំណោះស្រាយនិងការបោះឆ្នោតដើម្បីផ្ដល់៨២,៥លានដុល្លាអាមេរិកក្នុងភាពជាជំនួយនៃសង្គ្រោះបន្ទាន់យោធាកម្ពុជា។
