Senator Frank Murkowski expressed in his statement that the Cambodian problem was complicated militarily, diplomatically, politically, and morally. For some time, the US sought a comprehensive political settlement in Cambodia by working primarily with the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council.
សមាជិកព្រឹទ្ធសភា ហេ្វ្រង ម៉ូកូវស្គី បានបង្ហាញអារម្មណ៍នៅក្នុង សេចក្ដី ថ្លែងការណ៍របស់លោកថាបញ្ហារបស់ប្រជាជាតិកម្ពុជាគឺមានភាពស្មុគស្មាញ នៅខាងផ្នែកយោធា ការទូត ផ្នែកនយោបាយ និងខាងផ្នែកសីលធម៌។ សម្រាប់ ពេលខ្លះ សហរដ្ឋអាមេរិកក៏បានស្វែងរកនូវដំណោះស្រាយដ៏មាន ប្រសិទ្ធភាពខាងផ្នែកនយោបាយនៅក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជាដោយធ្វើជាអាទិ៍ជា មួយនឹងសមាជិកអចិន្ដ្រៃយ៍ទាំង៥នៃក្រុមប្រឹក្សាសន្ដិសុខរបស់អង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិ ។
